About the event
Join us for an exciting, hands-on workshop designed for kids ages 8–12 to create their very own original story characters! In this 1-hour session, children will build a complex character in three simple steps, including their character’s personality, appearance, and goals. Whether your child loves writing, drawing, or storytelling, this workshop sparks creativity and brings their imagination to life in a fun and interactive way.
Each registration includes a Read Write Create Story Kit, which comes with everything they need to get started:
Character Creator Activity Book - filled with prompts and exercises to guide them along the way.
Idea Organizer - these beautiful felt zippered folders are the perfect creative home for the Read Write Create sketchpad and color-themed pencils.
Color-Themed Pencils - a set of 14 colored pencils designed with creativity in mind.
Participants will also get a Kid Cappuccino from The Reading Grounds cafe inside The Book Bird.
